Built in a Moment That Demanded More.
GLU started in 2020, when a lot of things felt uncertain and a lot of conversations felt overdue. We were watching small businesses, especially minority-owned ones, carry enormous weight with very little structural support. The work was powerful. The representation often wasn’t.
We didn’t set out to build an agency. We set out to be useful.
In the beginning, that meant helping founders clarify who they were and how they showed up. Over time, through referrals and long-term partnerships, the work expanded. Today we collaborate with nonprofits, education initiatives, advocacy organizations, and growing enterprises that are shaping real outcomes in their communities.
We care deeply about equity. But care alone isn’t enough. Our clients trust us because we bring discipline to the process—clear thinking, thoughtful design, and communication that holds up in serious rooms.
GLU is led by Mark Nash and Michelle Puri. As minority entrepreneurs ourselves, we understand the pressure of building something meaningful without endless resources. That perspective informs our work, but it doesn’t define it. What defines us is the standard we hold ourselves to.
We believe meaningful work deserves representation that matches its importance.
Who We Are
While GLU is led by a core team, we operate through a close network of trusted collaborators including photographers, videographers, developers, and strategists, assembled intentionally based on the needs of each engagement. This model allows us to remain agile while delivering work at the highest standard.
